I want to thank you all for the wonderful care you took of Thea, Rory, Mikey and Percy
while my husband and I were gone last week and this weekend. Leaving my "babies"
is always very difficult for me, but this time, though I still hated doing it, I was confident
they were in capable and loving hands. I called the toll free number twice to check on
them and each timeIreceived a full report on how everyone was doing. When Ray and
I arrived to pick them up, we found that Palmetto Kennels not only met our expectations
but far exceeded them. Freshly bathed puppies, laundered toys & beds and adorable thank you
cards with our baby’s pictures on them! And aside from 10 minutes of "the cold shoulder"
routine from Rory, everyone was happy and back to normal like we never left.

The most wonderful of all was that Mikey made it through the experience with no ill
effects. His colitis normally causes him to have tremendous stress and major "potty problems"
anytime I leave or there or any other major changes in his routine. He can become agitated
if someone pushes a thumb tack in the wall where there is usually nothing. Taking him
to a vet causes him to spike a 103 to 105 degree temperature which is why I have a
vet that comes to my home to see him and Percy. Yet, he was happy and content at
Palmetto Kennels. This is nothing short of a miracle in my eyes, and I’m sure
Dr. Susie will feel the same way.

I’ve called Dr. Susie Fromm (the cats’ vet), Vetsmart (the dogs’ vet) and Lettie Towles
(our obedience instructor) to tell them how wonderful your facility, and how wonderfully
both we and our babies were treated. I’ve also sung your praises to all of my co-workers
and relatives, and I plan on singing them to our friends at Bent Tree Farm Supply as well.

I wish you all the best, and we ALL look forward to seeing you again when
we take our next vacation.

Dear staff at Palmetto Kennels,
Thank you so very much for your care of Kaitlyn while I was away over the
Fourth of July holiday. She has never been less affected when I've been
away. I have searched for two years to find an acceptable place for Kaitlyn
when I'm away. I hadn't been away from her for longer than 36 hours since
September 1997. Although I live in Pasco County, about 75 miles from
Palmetto Kennels, it was well worth the journey to feel so at ease with your
facility and so confident of her care. It's wonderful to know that we have a
place for Kaitlyn to "vacation" when she can't be with me. Keep up the good

Dear Palmetto Kennels,
THANK YOU for taking such great care of our "best friend" - Bandit.
She has been to your wonderful facility three times thus far and we're looking forward to
leaving her with you again in the future as needed. In the past, at several other facilities,
Bandit would come home sick and very unhappy. Now she comes home clean and happy and
we've not seen any ill effects. We thought her "post kennel illness" was unavoidable
and to be expected, boy were we wrong. In fact, before we leave on a trip we tell her she's
going to the "spa" for a few days. Thank you again for your excellent service
and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
